A 76-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with an alleged hit and run in Newton Mearns.
A 14-year-old boy suffered a broken wrist after he was struck by a vehicle in Ayr Road at Firwood Road.
Officers were called to the scene just after 8am last Monday.
The teen was taken to hospital for treatment to his wrist and for minor injuries.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A 76-year-old man has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with alleged road traffic offences."
