A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital after being struck by a car on a dual carriageway, police said.
The man was hit by a silver Vauxhall Astra as he crossed the A92 south of Arbroath, Angus. The incident happened shortly after 3am yesterday on the westbound side.
The pedestrian, whose age has not been revealed, was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Police Scotland said no other vehicles were involved.
