A MASS powercut at a European travel hub has halted flights from Glasgow airport.
Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam has been affected by a major blackout, with flights to and from the airport not expected to resume until 11 this evening.
Five services travelling in and out of Glasgow airport to the Dutch hub- four KLM flights and one Easyjet service - have been cancelled as a result.
A Glasgow airport spokeswoman has advised passengers to check with their airline for further updates.
The blackouts have not just affected Amsterdam's main airport, but large parts in the north of the country and many train services.
