TWO men, aged 32 and 55, have been reported to the procurator fiscal over alleged road traffic offences in connection with a three-car smash on a busy Glasgow carriageway yesterday.
As reported in later editions of yesterday's Evening Times, six people, including two children, were injured in the incident on the A814 Clydeside Expressway at Finnieston at around 8.40am.
The children were taken to the nearby Royal Hospital for Sick Children at Yorkhill, and the adults went to the Western Infirmary. One woman who was taken to hospital was kept in overnight for observation and the rest were released after treatment.
Heavy rain overnight had made road conditions difficult for commuters.
The road was closed and motorists faced massive tailbacks.
