A Celtic fan who supplied matchday cocaine to fellow supporters has been allowed to walk free from court.
Chef Sean Ewing took wraps of cocaine on a supporters bus to sell to other fans and was caught with the drug outside McDiarmid Park in Perth.
Ewing had the white powder wraps secreted inside a plastic container and told stewards at St Johnstone's ground it contained "sweeties."
But when police searched and analysed the contents they discovered he was carrying more than £1000 of cocaine into the match, on Boxing Day.
Ewing, 25, who works as a chef at Tony Roma's in Glasgow, had his mobile phone taken for analysis and a stream of drug-related texts showed he had been dealing for months.
At Perth Sheriff Court, Ewing, of Barrowfield Place, Glasgow, admitted possessing £50 worth of cocaine and being concerned in the supply of the Class A drug at the stadium and elsewhere between October 16 and December 26 last year.
Sheriff Valerie Johnston described the drug dealing as "serious" but imposed a community payback order on Ewing, ordering him to carry out 150 hours unpaid work.
