The seven-year-old, from Yoker, was joined by the Evening Times columnist, 32, at the city's St Enoch Centre yesterday as they got involved with Disney's Comedy Magic for Red Nose Day.

Both donned Mickey Mouse ears and red noses as they flexed their funny bones to raise cash for Comic Relief.

Shoppers gathered round as the pair giggled for the camera.

The drive aims to inspire people to make Disney staff laugh by sharing jokes, stories, pictures or videos.

Every time someone succeeds at raising a laugh from the team at Disney UK, they will donate £1 to Comic Relief.

Families can share their funny stories at Disney.co.uk/ rednoseday.

By entering they can also win the chance of having £20,000 donated in their name to Comic Relief or to win a family holiday to Disneyland Paris.

Celebrities around the world have already shared their favourite jokes, securing a cash windfall for Comic Relief.

Famous faces who have signed up include; One Direction, Kelly Osbourne, Melanie Chisholm, Richard Branson and Disney Channel stars Bridgit Mendler, Laura Marano, Ross Lynch, Debby Ryan, Bella Thorne and Zendaya Coleman.
