MISSING Karen Buckley's handbag has been found dumped near to where she disappeared.
After the discovery, officers said they fear the 24-year-old nurse may have come to some harm after leaving a nightclub in Glasgow early on Sunday.
The bag is believed to have been found in a bin near Dawsholm Park.
Uniformed officers stood guard at the bin as a cordon was put in place and a search of the area got underway.
The park is close to Dorchester Avenue, where officers were also conducting inquiries.
It is thought the bag contained her mobile phone, which police say ran out of battery at 10.30am on Sunday.
There has been also no activity on her social media accounts since Saturday night, which police, her parents and friends say is "very unusual">
