A STREET-art campaign highlighting some of the shocking reasons people hand over their dogs after Christmas was launched in Glasgow.
The Dogs Trust is marking the time of year when online traffic to sites selling puppies peaks.
In a bid to make the nation think twice about impulsively purchasing Christmas puppies, the charity launched this year's 'A dog is for Life, not just for Christmas®' campaign.
And to help get it off the ground art team Idiom - Sholto Brown and brother Hugo - got together with 4 year old Jack Russell 'Misty" in front of their mural just off Great Western Road.
Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and has 20 UK rehoming centres caring for nearly 17,000 dogs a year.
