Mother searches for son

THE mother of a student missing for almost two months spent Mother's Day in driving snow as she searched for her son.

Donna O'Halloran, took to the freezing River Forth in an inflatable dinghy clad in a dry-suit, snorkel and mask, but failed to find any trace of 18-year-old David, from Kilmaurs, Ayrshire.

The Stirling University student vanished on January 19 after a night out in the city.
