Movie star Daniel goes back to roots

DANIEL PORTMAN, the Scottish star of movie The Angels' Share , has given drama lessons to youngsters at Paisley's Kibble Education and Care Centre.

The 20-year-old worked with the young people on different projects, teaching them how to film scenes, put together performances and practise skills such as improvisation.

Kibble's creative arts development officer, Gavin Sinclair, was Daniel's tutor while he studied at the town's Reid Kerr College, and invited him to visit the centre.
