Families in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, are being encouraged to kick-start the new year by getting fit and raising funds for the Glasgow-based Mary’s Meals charity.
The Great Big Racketball Challenge, launched by Rutherglen MSP James Kelly, will run until February in a joint bid to fight the flab and raise money for the charity which provides one meal a day for almost 460,000 children in 15 developing countries.
