A CHARITY supporting women in the west of Glasgow has been praised for its work.
Drumchapel Women's Aid was recognised by Glasgow MSP Anne McTaggart, left, for its "first class standard of service" to women in need.
The Labour MSP was speaking in a members' debate on the Zero Tolerance campaign in the Scottish Parliament earlier this week.
She said: "Every woman in Scotland should have access to the standard of services and resources that are provided by Women's Aid in Drumchapel."
The Women's Aid centre was launched in 1998 to assist women suffering from domestic abuse.
