GLASGOW politicians have welcomed Islam Awareness Week Scotland.
More than 25 Scottish Muslim organisations and institutions have come together to host a week of events to promote a greater understanding of Islam.
This year's theme of Sharing the Common Wealth of Islam links to the 2014 Games.
Glasgow MSP Humza Yousaf said: "I wish the organisers every success for the excellent range of events they have organised."
