A new partnership has been agreed which will see health and social services.
Inverclyde’s new Community Health and Care Partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Inverclyde Council will see them jointly manage local NHS and social work services and play a major role in community planning.
Convener Cllr Joe McIlwee said: “We see it as an enhanced partnership that will make a difference to the health of the population, reduce inequalities...and will improve health and wellbeing across Inverclyde.”
