Customers eating out and buying food in Kirkintilloch and surrounding areas can now check the food hygiene standards premises through a new scheme.
The Food Hygiene Information Scheme, which has been implemented by the East Dunbartonshire Council in partnership with the Food Standards Agency, will highlight the hygiene of all restaurants, pubs, hotels, takeaways, supermarkets and shops in Kirkintilloch.
