A NEW network of paths have opened at the David Livingstone Centre In Blantyre.
They were built by South Lanarkshire Council's Work it Out team which helps young people with additional support need and the Community Pay Back team.
The final touch to the path network was the erection of a shelter which has images and text cut into it form David Livingstone's adventures in Africa and his time working at Blantyre cotton works.
It is located next to the natural play area which has recently had an injection of life from local school children.
Pupils from St. Joseph's Primary School and David Livingstone Memorial Primary School worked with artist Alan Kain to planted willow creating beautiful tunnels and sculptures.
