SUPERMARKET chain Sainsbury's will open its latest Glasgow store today.

The new store, at 160 Battlefield Road, has created 14 jobs for the local community.

Charity partner, the Yorkhill Children's Charity, will cut the ribbon today to officially open the store.

The company revealed it is to invest £150 million in price cuts over the next year.

A review of the business also found the need to improve the quality of 3000 own-brand products.
