Your New Crew will organise events across Glasgow to introduce people who have just moved to the city to the most popular venues and best-kept secrets it has to offer.
The first event will be held at The Corinthian in Glasgow on Friday, October 25, kicking off at 6.30pm.
Founded by 27-year-old business woman Gemma Pirnie, it is aimed at young professionals, graduates and post-graduates who have relocated to Glasgow to start their first or second jobs.
She got the idea from her own experience as a graduate from Edinburgh University in 2009.
Originally from Perth, she relocated to London to complete a post-graduate degree and found herself applying for jobs up and down the country.
The experience of moving to a new place can be both daunting and isolating, and Gemma found there were few services to help recruits settle into their new city's and make friends.
Gemma, who lives in Broomhill, said: "It is a fast-track to becoming a local - it is a way of finding out about the best place to go out -places that are beloved by locals and also new places."
She moved to Glasgow a year ago, to launch Your New Crew, which will also operate in Edinburgh.
Gemma fell in love with the city, describing herself as a "cheerleader" for Glasgow.
She wants to introduce people to her favourite places, such as cafe bar Velvet Elvis in Partick and the various eateries and bars in Ashton Lane.
All the evenings are designed to be after work drinks, relaxed affairs for people to meet and be introduced to other people in an informal setting.
Your New Crew works with bars and restaurants to offer different nights to their members.
People can join the service via the website, where there are various membership options including a year-long subscription costing £10 a month.
Gemma said: "Glasgow has real personality and once you are living in Glasgow, that really shines through.
"It's a really young city and it has a really young vibe. It is such a great city, I thought people have to be introduced to this."
