ENTERTAINER Ross Noble will make his musical theatre debut in the UK tour of The Producers.
The production is coming to the Theatre Royal in Glasgow on June 15 next year.
The funnyman joins the cast as Franz Liebkind, the short fused, carrier pigeon keeping former Nazi, brought on board by Max Bialystok and Leo Bloom - played by Jason Manford - to help them in their plot to put on the worst musical of all time.
Based on Mel Brooks' movie, The Producers opens its UK tour in March Ross said: "I am excited about appearing in The Producers. I am a huge fan of the show and for anyone who loves comedy, the chance to perform the work of Mel Brooks is amazing."

Meanwhile, Jeff Wayne's musical version of the War of The Worlds is getting ready to be staged in Glasgow's SSE Hydro.
It comes to the venue tomrrow featuring actor Liam Neeson who will be appearing by 3D hologram.
HG Wells will be played by Scottish actor Callum O'Neill, who is best known for his role as Wee Dingwall in Disney Pixar's 2012 Summer Blockbuster Brave.
