A GLASGOW nurse has been accused of stealing powerful drugs used to treat seriously ill psychiatric patients.
Helen Ralston, 45, from Kirkintilloch, Dumbartonshire, was suspended from her job at Stobhill hospital while police carry out an investigation.
She is alleged to have stolen the drugs from the mental health unit, where she worked night shift as a staff nurse.
Hospital bosses suspended Ralston and it is understood they are awaiting the outcome of a police investigation.
It is understood quantities of drugs were going missing for some time.
