SIR Alex Ferguson could be grilled by both Old Firm managers at his first Glasgow appearance after a hip operation later this year.
Just weeks after the planned operation, Sir Alex, who announced his retirement as Manchester United boss last week, will appear at a charity dinner in aid of the STV Appeal supporting Scotland's children.
Managers don't come tougher than Fergie, who yesterday took charge of his last home game at Manchester United.
But he could be in for a tough night being quizzed by Rangers manager Ally McCoist and Celtic boss Neil Lennon.
His close friend, Glasgow club tycoon James Mortimer, revealed details of the event, which will be held at his club 29, at Royal Exchange Square, this autumn.
Mr Mortimer said invitations have gone out to McCoist and Lennon to lead a question-and-answer session with Sir Alex. "It would be fantastic for both - to be putting questions to Sir Alex," he added.
