TWO people had to be cut free from a car after it crashed into trees.
Emergency services were called out to the collision shortly after 2pm yesterday.
The car was travelling on Kilmacolm Road near Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire, when it left the road.
Firefighters had to rescue the male driver and female passenger using cutting equipment.
They were taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
Station Commander Stephen Ruth, of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, said: "The male driver was unable to leave the car due to its position, while a woman passenger was trapped by her ankle."
