A MOTORIST was taken to hospital after a car flipped onto its roof.
The crash happened in Hawthorn Street in the north of Glasgow at about 11.40am on Friday.
Emergency services were called to reports of a car having turned on its roof.
A Scottish Ambulance spokeswoman said one person was taken to the Royal Infirmary.
The road is partially blocked in both directions between Balmore Road and the Lomond Street junctions.
Police are directing traffic.
