AN event celebrating United Nations International Peace Day will take place in Glasgow this weekend.
Organisers said the event would have particular relevance for Scotland in the wake of the referendum result.
Peace Day Celebration is being held at Cineworld on Sunday and speaking will include the co- convener of the Scottish Green Party, Patrick Harvie.
He said: "Everyone living in Scotland has a duty and responsibility to promote a climate of peace, respect and reconciliation in the days and weeks ahead".
