A CHARITY which runs two animal hospitals in Glasgow is in the running for a £50,000 boost.
The PDSA is calling on supporters across the city to help them bag the vital cash.
The charity is one of nine national charities short listed in the Vote that Counts competition, run by the People's Postcode Trust, with a first prize of £50,000.
Nicola Martin, head of pet health and welfare, said: "£50,000 will help us to deliver more life-saving care packages for pets, including guidance on preventive treatments such as vaccinations and neutering, alongside full health 'MOTs' and action plans."

Voting closes at 5pm on Monday, October 21.
