TICKETS have gone on sale for the world's biggest-ever piping event, which attracts tens of thousands of spectators to Glasgow.
The Piping Live! Glasgow International Piping Festival and The World Pipe Band Championships will take place from August 11-17 and will bring more than 8000 musicians to the city.
Organisers have introduced a new early "golden ticket" which will give music fans access to all the festival's evening concerts.
The festival ends with The World Pipe Band Championships.
Advance tickets for The Worlds cost £12, with children/concession tickets at £7.
