A MAN has died after he was struck by a car as he crossed a Greenock road.
On Wednesday just after 6pm the as-yet unnamed 56-year-old was hit by a black Peugeot 407 while crossing Inverkip Street.
He was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital but died a few hours later.
Police ask that witnesses should call 0141 532 6100.
