Shannon Robertson was last seen at her house in the Norfolk Crescent area of Bishopbriggs, at around 10pm on Sunday.

Police are checking with family and friends, reviewing CCTV images and appealing for anyone with informa-tion to get in touch.

The teenager is around 5ft 8in, medium build with, long, wavy auburn hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a black jacket.

Inspector Craig Rowan, from Kirkin-tilloch Police Office, said: "It is out of character for Shannon to be out of contact with everyone and we are growing increas-ingly concerned for her and would like to know she is safe and well. She has been known to visit Maryhill, Larkhall and Wishaw areas."

Police have also appealed for informa-tion to trace two men.
