Pledge over better housing

THE SNP has vowed to battle to boost housing standards if it takes control of the city council.

And it has promised to tackle bad landlords and home owners who refused to look after their property.

Councillor Craig Mackay said: "Glasgow SNP has spoken to organisations better to understand their experiences of housing in Glasgow.

"Our priorities are based on their priorities, such as better standards and more affordable housing, more fuel-efficient housing and tougher action to deal with bad landlords. We will work tirelessly to bring housing standards back up to scratch."
