Entries are being taken for the Edwin Morgan International Poetry Competition and for the first time entries can be written in Scots as well as English.

The competition, sponsored by the University of Strathclyde, offers one of the largest poetry prizes in the UK, with £5000 for the winner and additional awards of £1000, £500 and £50.
