A GROUP of Ayrshire poets will take to the railway to celebrate National Poetry Day.
Largs Poems and Pints will board four ScotRail trains on Thursday to mark the occasion, performing for passengers.
The group's monthly poem, which is displayed at Largs station, has already become an established feature.
Poets Alison Green, Evie Corkill, Bill Davidson and Bill Douglas, led by Jack Muir, will travel to Saltcoats on the 9.53am Largs- Glasgow servce, returning to Largs on the 9.45 train, before repeating the journeys on the 11.53, returning on the 12.45pm train.
