Pole star Sam gets fit with gymnastics - and no chocs Injury setback led to lifestyle change for Games hopeful

A TEENAGER who feared a leg injury would stop him competing in the 2014 Commonwealth Games is to increase his training - and ditch junk food for two years.

Sam Adams, 17, from Hyndland in Glasgow has been a pole vaulter for almost five years and is desperate to compete in the 2014 games.

His training involves 10 sessions a week of high impact running, weight training and swimming.
