POLICE are hunting a man who sexually assaulted two teenagers in an early morning attack.
Two females, aged 18 and 19, were approached by a man at around 4.45am on Sunday December 14.
They were walking on a footbridge close to Glasgow University's Murano Street halls when a man approached them from behind and sexually assaulted them.
After the attack near the Forth and Clyde canal he then ran off towards Maryhill.
He has been described as in his late 20s, around 5ft 10, slim and with a gaunt appearance.
DC Alan McIntosh at Maryhill CID said: "It is believed that the man was hanging around the area prior to this incident taking place and that the general area was quite busy with members of the public and taxis.
"I'd like to speak to anyone who recognises the suspect's description or anyone who has any other information that could assist us in tracing this man."
"Anyone with information is asked to contact Maryhill CID on 101.
