Police stations 'to close'

SCORES of police stations will face closure under the new single force, it has been claimed.

A leaked document suggests the £56million annual police estates budget will be cut by 20% over three years, and staff relocated.

Labour has called for assurances over the cuts from Steve House, the new force's chief constable amid concern over response times and access to custody cells.
