ONE of Edinburgh's busiest streets was closed today because of a police incident.
Police were called to Princes Street Gardens at around 9.30am.
The busy street was partially closed while emergency services were at the scene.
Trams were only running between Shandwick Place and the airport and diversions were put in place for buses.
