A POLICE probe is underway after a body was found in a seaside town.
The man's body was discovered at 9am on Saturday in Saltcoats.
Officers said the grim discovery was made near the shore and the death was being treated as "unexplained".
Following a post-mortem examination, police are treating the incident as "not suspicious".
