Probe launched after fire above Masons Arms in Galston
AN investigation has been launched following a blaze above a pub in East Ayrshire.
Emergency services were called to the flat above the Masons Arms, in Henrietta Street, Galston, shortly before 10pm on Wednesday.
Fire crews spent around three hours distinguishing the blaze.
Police said no-one was injured in the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "There is a joint investigation between the fire service and police into the cause of the fire.
"Inquiries are continuing."
