The Evening Times and Taylor Wimpey West of Scotland have teamed up again to launch a joint Community Chest Appeal, and we want readers to nominate the most deserving groups.
There's a cash fund of £2500 which will be shared among three lucky winners.
Glasgow's favourite newspaper and one of the country's leading house builders launched the first joint appeal last year and it attracted dozens of nominations.
The three city-based groups which shared last year's windfall were; the Possibilities East End Kids (PEEK), for launching play schemes for children; the running club Shettleston Harriers, and the Symphony of Dreams Trust, which works on behalf of sick and disadvantaged kids.
PEEK banked £1250 and board member Jackie Gilmour admitted: "I was absolutely blown away when I found out we had won. It's nice to be recognised for the work we do.
"There's always plenty that we can put the money towards, whether it's new waterproofs for the kids or towards one of our street play sites."
This year the winners will receive a cheque for £1250 with the runner-up banking £750 with another £500 going to the third placed group.
Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: "We always try to support the local communities where we build our new homes, which is why we're so delighted to once again be the main sponsor of our Community Chest Appeal with The Evening Times.
"Last year we saw fantastic nominations from a broad spectrum of groups, clubs, schools and charitable organisations, all doing some incredible work and offering amazing support in their local areas.
"This year we hope that we will hear about even more projects that are going on across Glasgow that could do with our help as part of this incredible initiative.
"Our Community Chest Appeal is designed to offer a helpful boost to projects that work really hard in their local communities to make a real difference to peoples' lives.
