A MARRIED man who led a secret double life as a child rapist has failed in his bid to have his convictions for sexual assault quashed.
John Short, 57, of Garnethill, Glasgow, was jailed for 12 years in October 2013 after being convicted of abusing three young girls over a 17-year period between 1984 and 2001.
Appeal judges said that they had heard nothing to convince them that a miscarriage of justice had occurred.
