A SEX beast who repeatedly raped a woman and filmed the attacks on his mobile phone has had his appeal against conviction rejected.
At an appeal court hearing at the High Court in Glasgow a three-judge panel ruled that Slovakian Ernest Radic's conviction was fair.
It was argued the 27-year-old was not given a fair trial because a police inter-view in which he claimed he had not had sex with his 22-year-old victim was put before the jury. This clashed with Radic's admission during evidence that he had had sex with her, but it was consensual.
Prosecutor Alex Prentice QC said: "This was a compelling case even without that evidence."
