A DISABLED thief who boasted that he used his concessionary bus pass to go shoplifting has been jailed for eight months.
George Hamilton, 55, of Drygate, Ladywell in Glasgow's East End was nabbed in Boots, Stirling, stealing razor blades twice in less than 10 days.
Prosecutor Adrian Fraser told Stirling Sheriff Court: "He seems to have said to the security guard that he was a regular shoplifter at the location, and he made the comment that he used his free travel pass to carry out shoplifting trips, and then sold the items for money."
Hamilton, who appeared from custody, pleaded guilty to stealing £55 worth of razor blades, and one razor on December 20 and 29.
