There will changes to some household bin collections in North Lanarkshire over the Christmas and New Year holidays.
All wheeled bins and food waste caddies scheduled for collection on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 December will be collected on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 December respectively.
The same arrangement will be in place the following week; collections scheduled for Thursday 1 and Friday 2 January will be collected on 3 and 4 January.
Bins due to be collected on 27 and 28 December and 3 and 4 January will be collected as normal.
The council's household waste recycling centres will be open as normal except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
A limited special uplift service will operate between Monday 22 December and Sunday 4 January. To arrange an uplift for real Christmas trees (with all decorations removed), phone Northline on 01698 403110.
