GLASGOW'S Garden of Remembrance was officially opened in time for this weekend's service.
George Square will be the centre of attention on Sunday when the Remembrance Day service takes place at 11am.
Organised by the Royal British Legion Scotland Glasgow & Western Counties Area, wreaths will be laid by the Rt Hon Sadie Docherty, Lord Provost of Glasgow, the respective heads of the Navy, Army and Royal Air Force, representatives of the Royal British Legion Scotland, Poppyscotland and other veterans' charities, as well as members of the Police and Fire Services.
There will be prayers, readings and a minute's silence.
The Last Post will be sounded by a bugler and a piper will play.
