THE body of a teenager feared drowned in the River Clyde has been found.
Police confirmed that the body discovered near the Kingston Bridgelast night had been identified as being Steven Clark, 17.
He was last seen near the footbridge at Carlton Place, in Glasgow city centre, just over a week ago.
The teenager, from the Gorbals area, was out with a group of friends when the tragedy happened.
Police said the alarm was raised around 7.20pm on September 14 by his friends and a full-scale search was launched.
Mr Clark was discovered on Monday night and a Police Scotland spokesman confirmed yesterday afternoon that his family had been informed.
There are no suspicious circumstances. A post mortem will take place.
