A man and woman were taken to hospital after reports of a car crashed on top of another.
A police spokeswoman said the two, who were not thought to be seriously injured, were taken to the South Glasgow Hospital following the accident at 11.25am in Wedderlea Drive.
She said it was not yet known how the accident had occurred or if one vehicle had overturned onto the other.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing four or five police vehicles and ambulances, plus a fire appliance, outside homes.
A silver Nissan car was spotted inches from another in a driveway, with rubble and a car door lying in the garden.
People at the scene reported seeing an elderly woman cut free by firefighters but police at the scene declined to comment.
