ONE is a member of the biggest rock and roll group in the world and the other is a music legend.

But Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and singer Bob Dylan are both to have examples of their paintings on sale in Glasgow.

Castle Galleries in Princes Square is hosting exhibitions of work by the two superstars.

And fans with deep pockets will be able to pick up limited edition prints.

Billy Couper, Castle Galleries manager, said: "The collection includes instantly recognisable portraits of Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, Keith Richards and a striking self portrait of Ronnie himself, alongside two brand new pieces which capture the incredible energy that has created the world's greatest rock and roll band."

Ronnie Wood's work starts at £4000 while Dylan's ranges in price from £1750 to £4100.

Wood's prints come from a series called The Blue Smoke collection. Wild Horses features the band performing in front of three white stallions and What Price Tickets shows them on stage being showered with cash from around the world.

The works by Bob Dylan, which will be on sale later in the year, include signed limited edition graphics. They come from a collection which he drew while on tour between 1989 and 1992.

The drawings were published in a 1994 book entitled Drawn Blank, and Dylan later transformed them using watercolour and gouache ahead of an exhibition in 2006.
