SWEDEN and Scotland will go wheel to wheel in Glasgow in an all- female, all-action roller derby competition.
Glasgow Roller Derby's A-team - the Irn Bruisers - will line up against the Stockholm Allstars on Sunday August 11 at Glasgow Caledonian Uni's ARC Sports Centre on Cowcaddens Road.
Organisers promise it will be an exciting clash between the two teams, both are ranked in the top 10 in Europe.
Roller derby is a full-contact, predominantly female sport, played on roller skates on a flat oval track.
The skating events - the world's fastest growing women's sport - offer a mix of sporting endurance, athleticism and excitement.
