RUNNERS taking part in a festive challenge are being urged to help raise cash for a Scottish charity.
Hundreds of joggers have bravely vowed to run at least 5k every day in December for the Marcothon challenge.
An impromptu 5k will take place on Sunday to raise cash for the charity Mary's Meals, which helps feed schoolchildren in third world countries.
Runners are asked to turn up at the Botanic Garden gates at 11am on Sunday with a £5 donation for the charity.
