A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with attacking a schoolboy with a knife.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly assaulted another boy on March 2.
He is accused of repeatedly punching him on the head and body and repeatedly striking him on the body with a knife or similar implement, to his severe injury and permanent impairment.
The teenager made his private appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court where he was represented by solicitor advocate Billy Lavelle.
He made no plea or declaration and was released on bail by sheriff Daniel Scullion.
It is expected he will return to court at a later date.
