Scots resting place for PC killed in horror attack

A POLICE officer who died in a gun and grenade attack in Greater Manchester has been laid to rest near her childhood home in Scotland.

Fiona Bone, 32, died with colleague PC Nicola Hughes, 23, in Mottram last month.

The ceremony at Clovenside Cemetery in Forres, Moray, was attended by PC Bone's immediate family while a plaque bearing her name, her age and the date she died mark her grave.

Her funeral took place at Manchester Cathedral last week.

Ms Bone was educated in Hopeman and Lossiemouth while her father served in the RAF.
